Simon Beard

Simon Beard is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Americas, responsible for Align Technology’s market development and operational execution of all Align Technology products and services in the Americas region. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). He joined the company in November 2014 originally as Vice President and Managing Director for EMEA. Mr. Beard has had a progressive career over 25 years in the pharmaceuticals and medical device industry. Prior to Align Technology, Mr. Beard was Regional Managing Director for Smith & Nephew’s South East Asia business. Prior to Smith & Nephew, Mr. Beard held multiple commercial, strategic and general management positions in companies such as DePuy International (Johnson & Johnson), Sankyo Pharmaceutical and Sanofi Aventis. Mr. Beard holds a B.S. degree from Wake Forest University, North Carolina, USA.
