Siyi Liu

Siyi Liu is a Senior R&D Engineer at Align Technology, specializing in 2D/3D finite element analysis (FEA) with proficiency in Abaqus and COMSOL. Previously, Siyi was a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, where they designed mechanical structures for stretchable piezoelectric devices and investigated conformable electronics. They also interned as a Hardware Engineer at Apple, developing flexible display architectures. Siyi earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from The University of Texas at Austin and holds a B.S. from Tsinghua University.
