Tal J. Levy

Tal J. Levy is an experienced algorithm developer with a strong background in machine learning, computer vision, and physical chemistry. Currently serving as a Senior Algorithm Developer at Align Technology since November 2016, Tal previously held positions as an Algorithm Developer at Cortica, where the focus was on extracting visual information from images and video. Tal's research experience includes work at the Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Germany, where ab-initio methods were developed for quantum systems, as well as a PhD research role at Tel Aviv University concentrating on theoretical and computational tools for nano-systems. Additional experience includes leading the Yoav Gera Sound School as Chief Instructor and serving as a diving instructor at Siam Diving Club. Tal J. Levy holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from the Holon Institute of Technology.
