Rasool Sheik

Rasool Sheik is currently a Clinical Consultant at Alignd, focusing on the delivery of Palliative Care and patient enrolment in the Alignd programme. In addition, Rasool serves as a Medical Officer at both St Luke's Combined Hospices and Faircape Health, where responsibilities include managing sub-acute patients and providing holistic care for palliative patients. Previously, Rasool worked as a Medical Doctor with LocumWorkForce and as a General Practitioner in Hoedspruit. Experience also includes roles in Psychiatry and Internal Medicine with the Department of Health South Africa during critical health responses, as well as a Community Service Officer and Medical Doctor during an internship. Rasool holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Stellenbosch University and a Diploma in Palliative Care from the University of Cape Town.
