Eric Brown

Eric Brown has a solid background in quantum technology and research. Eric currently holds the position of Head of Simulation at Aliro Quantum since September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Research Software Engineer at Aliro Quantum from October 2020 to September 2021. Before joining Aliro Quantum, Eric served as a Quantum Applications Scientist at Agnostiq from September 2019 to September 2020. Eric also gained experience as a Venture Manager - Quantum at Creative Destruction Lab from January 2018 to August 2019. Eric began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at ICFO in October 2015, where they conducted research in the group of Dr. Antonio Acin with support from a Postdoctoral Fellowship awarded by NSERC.

Eric Brown obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Trent University in 2009. Eric then pursued a Master of Science in Quantum gravity at the University of Waterloo, completing it in 2011. Eric furthered their education at the University of Waterloo, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Quantum information and field theory in 2015.
