Alisha Whittam is a UK-based disability advocate, freelance journalist, content creator, and community founder dedicated to raising awareness of disability, chronic illness, accessibility, and inclusion.

Drawing on lived experience of severe Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS), Alisha creates articles, videos, campaigns, and educational resources that help amplify the voices of people living with disabilities and long-term health conditions.

Through journalism, social media, accessibility reviews, and online support communities, Alisha works to break down barriers, challenge misconceptions, and encourage meaningful conversations around disability and chronic illness.

Projects and communities include The Ability Alliance, Friends with ME, Talk with ME, The ME Carer Community, and The ME Pyjama Party. Together, these initiatives provide support, information, advocacy, and a sense of belonging for people affected by chronic illness and disability.

Alisha also produces content covering accessibility, disability rights, healthcare experiences, assistive products, and everyday life with chronic illness, while working with organisations and brands that share a commitment to inclusion and positive change.
