Sam Hunter

Sam Hunter is an experienced operations and production manager with a strong background in the chemical industry, currently serving as Operations Manager at Alitex since January 2025. Prior experience includes key roles at Johnson Matthey, where responsibilities ranged from leading the Chemical Products Production Department as Production Manager to managing the Process Engineering department and driving significant cost savings as a Senior Process Engineer. Sam Hunter's career also features various roles in process improvement and technology, underpinned by a solid academic foundation with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Sussex. Additional experience includes work in customer service as a qualified lifeguard and technical research in flood mapping.
