André Carrier

André Carrier has extensive experience in various leadership and coaching roles. Currently, they are serving as the Senior Director of Strategy & Business Agility at Alithya since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at CGI as the Director of Lean Agile/Agile Coach from April 2018 to March 2021. Previously, they held the position of Senior Program Manager - Agile Coach at both McAfee from December 2016 to October 2017 and Intel Corporation from August 2014 to December 2016.

Before transitioning into the technology industry, André Carrier co-founded BuddyPilots Aviation and served as the President from 2013 to 2016. André also worked at PasswordBox as Senior Production Manager - Agile & Scrum Lead from August 2013 to August 2014.

André Carrier started their career at TATA Communications, where they held multiple positions including Cross-Domain Business Lead & PSM/PSPO from March 2010 to September 2013 and Manager, Commercial Systems from 2004 to March 2010. André also served as a Director at Association des aviateurs et pilotes de brousse du Québec from 2007 to 2009.

Prior to joining TATA Communications, André Carrier worked at Teleglobe Canada Inc as a Network Provisioning System Pilot/Tech Expert from 2000 to 2004 and as a Provisioning Specialist (Enhanced Services/800 Services) from 1998 to 2000.

André Carrier's education history includes studying IT - Pure Sciences - Social Science at Edouard-Montpetit College. André also pursued Aircraft Pilot training at Longueuil AeroClub / Pratt & Whitney. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Professional Scrum Master and Product Owner degree from Pyxis Technologies. In terms of certifications, André obtained the Agility Heath Facilitator (AHF Certification) from AgilityHealth in 2021. André also received the Flow Framework Professional certification from Tasktop in 2020. In the same year, they obtained the SAFe 5 Certificed SPC from Scaled Agile, Inc. In 2011, André obtained the Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification and the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification, both from Scrum.org.
