Aurélien Berçon

Aurélien Berçon has extensive work experience in the field of design. Aurélien currently holds the position of Director of Design Practice at Alithya since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the National Bank of Canada as a UX Designer from February 2017 to November 2021. Before their time at the bank, they worked as a Digital + UX Designer at Human Equation from April 2015 to December 2016. Aurélien also served as a Web Designer at Humaneos from January 2012 to January 2015. In addition, they worked as a Web/Graphic Designer on a freelance contract for Mejuri in September 2014. Other notable roles include Graphic/Web Designer at Verbal Pixel from September 2011 to June 2014, Graphic/Web Designer at Momindum from May 2009 to August 2011, and Freelancer from September 2008 to May 2009. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Ordnance Survey from July 2006 to August 2007 and as a Project Management Assistant at easycom in June 2003.

Aurélien Berçon obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Visualisation from Teesside University between 2005 and 2008. Aurélien also completed a Certification in User Experience (UX) design at Akendi in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a DUT degree in computer science from Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne in 2004-2005. Additionally, they pursued a BTS degree in Prepress and Graphic design from Lycée Leonard de Vincy between 2002 and 2004. Aurélien Berçon has also obtained several additional certifications, including a Master Digital Product Design: UX Research & UI Design from Udemy in 2020 and a User Experience designer (CXD) certification from Akendi in 2016.
