Alive Counselling is a team of therapists offering quality mental health care to clients throughout Kelowna and across British Columbia through in-person, walk and talk therapy, and online counselling.

Our beautiful, welcoming clinic has 5 offices in the Banks Centre, right off Highway 97 in Kelowna. We are so proud of our team, who placed Top 3 in three categories for Best of Kelowna: Clinical Counsellor, Therapist, and Psychology Group (2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026).

Founded by Barbara Egan, a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Approved Clinical Supervisor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, Alive Counselling was built on a simple belief: everyone deserves the right fit with a therapist who truly understands them. That belief has shaped an 18-therapist team known for both clinical excellence and a warm, relational approach to care.

Our clinic offers individual, couples, family, and group therapy. We serve a wide range of presenting concerns, with a focus on finding the best fit for both clients and clinicians. Our team's core areas include:
→ Anxiety, stress & depression
→ Trauma & EMDR
→ CBT, self-compassion & self-confidence
→ Couples counselling
→ Postpartum depression & maternal mental health
→ Grief & loss
→ Christian counselling for those who want a faith-integrated approach
→ Sports performance & mental performance coaching for athletes from youth to professional, including AAA, WHL, USHL, NCAA, PWHL, NHL, and Olympic levels

We love helping people get unstuck and come more alive in their lives.

As a team, we each bring different specialties and approaches, making Alive a diverse and enriching place to learn. We hold monthly team meetings for case consultations and offer individual and small group clinical supervision.

We believe the world needs who *you* were made to be!
