Daniel Ritter

Daniel Ritter is the current Director and CFO at AlixPartners. Prior to this, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Kimastle from January 1998 to December 2003 where they managed the accounting staff, implemented accounting controls, negotiated customer agreements, restructured long-term vendor contracts, created sales and cash flow forecasts, renegotiated the debt structure, streamlined the cash management process, restructured the company’s management, and sold off unprofitable businesses.

Before Kimastle, Ritter was a Senior Associate at Plante Moran from January 1994 to December 1998. Plante Moran is among the nation’s largest certified public accounting and business advisory firms, providing clients with tax, audit, risk management, financial, technology, business consulting, and wealth management services.

Daniel Ritter's educational career includes a BS in Accounting from Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business, as well as various certifications. Daniel is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) from the AIRA-Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Michigan, and a Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) from the AICPA. Daniel also has a Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
