David Stanton

David leads companies through tactical and strategic cybersecurity program decisions, builds innovative strategies that facilitate the best outcomes, achieves efficient cybersecurity spend, establishes insightful metrics into the active health of companies’ programs, and architects more-secure technical capabilities. He advises client boards, legal teams, and risk functions in methods that thoughtfully manage threats, risks, and exposures. In his more than 20 years of experience in consulting around IT, cybersecurity, and risk management functions, David has advised organizations in the areas of data protection, IT risk management, international privacy regulations, cybersecurity frameworks, and operations. In additional to consulting, he has acted in interim cybersecurity leadership roles for several Fortune 500 companies, and clients benefit from his deep experience in the healthcare and financial services industries. David has a Bachelor of Business Administration in managerial information systems from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business.
