Jim is the Head of AlixPartners’ Turnaround and Restructuring Services Practice in the Americas. Jim has over 25 years of experience in the restructuring industry and has served in senior management positions in turnarounds such as CRO, COO, and CFO. Jim has been named the Global Turnaround Consultant of the Year by the Global M&A Network, and he was part of teams receiving annual awards for the successful restructurings of Zenith Electronics, General Growth Properties and Eastman Kodak Company by the Turnaround Management Association He holds an MBA Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School in finance and organizational behavior where he is a guest lecturer, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and management from Purdue University. Jim passed the CPA exam, holds his CTP, and is a fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy
