Matthew Root

Matthew Root is an experienced professional currently serving as a Director at AlixPartners since May 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew spent nearly nine years at Kroll, holding various positions including Senior Director, Expert Services, and Vice President - Expert Services. Earlier in his career, Matthew worked as a Process Engineer at Samsung Semiconductor from June 2006 to May 2011. Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, obtained between 2011 and 2013, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Lafayette College in 2006.
