Amanda Zigomalas

Amanda Zigomalas is a skilled Biomedical Engineer with extensive experience in project engineering and research. Currently employed at ALK as a Pharmaceutical Project Engineer I since November 2020, Amanda previously held positions as a Research and Development Engineer at Chembio Diagnostic Systems, Inc., and as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Biofluids Research Group, where research focused on platelet activation influenced by age. Amanda also contributed to the arts as a Gallery Assistant at the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery and developed outreach programs for the Women in Science and Engineering initiative. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Stony Brook University.
