Andrew Desbarats

Andrew Desbarats is an experienced executive with a strong background in management and sales within the biotechnology and technology sectors. Currently serving as General Manager for Canada at ALK-Abelló, Inc. since June 2018, Andrew previously held multiple positions at ALK Abelló, including Regional Sales Manager and Key Account Manager. Prior experience includes a decade as General Manager at Scientek LLC and roles in technical sales and product management at Empowered Networks, Daleen Technologies, and Stentor. Andrew holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the Schulich School of Business at York University, an MBA Exchange from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, as well as a BSc in Biochemistry from Queen's University and further education in environmental management and carbon finance from the University of Toronto.
