Dan Commerford

Dan Commerford is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in pharmaceutical marketing and sales operations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of US Pharma Commercial Operations at ALK since December 2016, Commerford has also held roles as Head of Sales and Marketing and Head of Marketing for North America. Prior to ALK, Commerford was Senior Director of Marketing at Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, where leadership was demonstrated during the organization's first US product launch in the specialized renal transplant market. Commerford's expertise spans various companies, including Ipsen, Pfizer, and Novartis Pharmaceuticals, where strategic marketing initiatives were implemented across multiple therapeutic areas. Academic qualifications include a BS in Biology from Rutgers University and dual MBA degrees in Pharmaceutical Operations and Pharmaceutical Sciences from Seton Hall University.
