David Mollerup

David Mollerup has extensive work experience in various roles within the healthcare and clinical research industry. David currently holds the position of Senior Director, Global Clinical Development at ALK. In this role, they are responsible for leading Global Clinical Development and overseeing strategy, core teams, and portfolio responsibilities. David also supports regulatory filings in multiple regions, including US FDA, HC, MHRA, EMA, and CN CDE, and manages clinical trial programs from CDP to CSR and regulatory submission.

Prior to their current position, David worked at Novo Nordisk, where they held several roles, including Senior Project Manager, Head of Department for Clinical Operations Inflammation & Growth Hormone, and International Trial Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for planning and implementing clinical trial activities for various therapeutic areas, collaborating with CROs and affiliates.

Before joining Novo Nordisk, David worked as a Research Administrator at the Danish Cancer Society, where they led the administration for the Institute for Cancer Biology and managed a team of support staff. David also held the position of Office Manager at the Copenhagen HIV Programme, where they were responsible for the administrative development of an international research group for HIV clinical trials and cohort studies.

David began their career as a Staff Nurse at Bispebjerg Hospital and later worked as a Development Consultant at KFUM-Spejderne i Danmark.

David Mollerup completed their education at various institutions. In 1988 to 1991, they attended Bispebjerg School of Nursing, where they earned their RN degree in Nursing. Later, in 2012 to 2013, they attended CBS Executive Fonden to study Managing Medical Product Innovation, but no specific degree was provided. Additionally, David Mollerup obtained certifications including PRINCE2 Practitioner from APMG-International in 2014, and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner from APMG International in 2016.
