Jacob Glenting

Jacob Glenting, PhD, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Jacob began their career in 1998 at Statens Serum Institut, where they worked as a Consultant for a year. Jacob then joined SSI as a Student, gaining valuable knowledge and skills in the field.

In 2000, Glenting moved to Bioneer and took on the role of Research Scientist. Jacob worked on vaccine development and made significant contributions to the organization. Jacob was later promoted to Head of Department, Vaccine Development, where they led a research and development group, managed vaccine development projects, and established alliances and networks for co-development programs.

In 2007, Glenting joined ALK as a Business Development Manager. Jacob excelled in this role and was subsequently promoted to Director, Corporate Business Development. In 2014, they became the Vice President of Corporate Business Development, taking on more responsibilities and contributing to the company's growth. In 2015, Glenting was appointed as the SVP of Commercial Operations for Eastern Europe, Russia, MENA, Asia, and LATAM. Jacob'sexpertise and leadership skills were recognized, and they were appointed as the SVP of Global Marketing & Region International in November 2019.

Throughout their career, Glenting has demonstrated a strong background in business development, effective management skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, specifically in vaccine development. Jacob'scontributions have been instrumental in driving the success and growth of the organizations they have worked with.

Jacob Glenting, PhD completed their education in a variety of fields. Jacob first attended the University of Copenhagen from 1994 to 2000, earning a degree in Biochemistry. Then, they pursued a PhD in Vaccine Development at the Technical University of Denmark from 2003 to 2007. In 2013, they completed a certificate program in Finance for Executives at PWC. Jacob also participated in expert-driven courses in Pharma forecasting, Valuation, Advanced Business Development, and Outlicensing from 2008 to 2010 at the Centre for Executive Leadership. Additionally, they completed a one-day course in Economics at Mannaz in 2009. Finally, they completed their high school education at Rungsted from 1989 to 1992, focusing on Math, Bio, and Chem.
