Michelle North

Michelle North serves as a Medical Advisor at ALK since April 2022, leading the medical affairs strategy for the anaphylaxis portfolio in Canada. Prior to this role, Michelle held multiple positions at Novartis from April 2017 to April 2022, specializing as a Medical Science Liaison in Allergy & Dermatology, Transplant Immunology and Biologics, and Respiratory Biologics. Michelle's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Toronto, where collaborative research focused on respiratory and allergic diseases took place. Additional research experiences were gained through post-doctoral fellowships at esteemed institutions such as Harvard and Queen's University. Michelle is also certified by the American Board of Toxicology as a Diplomate and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo.
