Rick Tearle

Rick Tearle is a Principal Bioinformatician at Alkahest, Inc., where they have been contributing since 2022. Previously, they held roles such as Senior Bioinformatician at the University of Adelaide from 2016 to 2022 and EMEA Distributor Manager at Illumina from 2007 to 2010. Rick also gained experience as a Senior Applications Specialist at Complete Genomics Inc. from 2010 to 2015 and held several managerial positions across various biotech companies, including BioWest SAS and Labtech International. Rick earned a PhD in Molecular Genetics from The Australian National University between 1983 and 1986.
