Bob Edmonston

Bob Edmonston is an experienced executive in the field of pharmaceutical development, currently serving as Executive Director at Alkermes since 2020. In this role, Bob manages a multi-role department and leads cross-functional teams through critical NDA/BLA submissions, liaises with various departments, and chairs a Pharmaceutical Development Forum. Prior to this, Bob held multiple roles at Alkermes, including Senior Director of CMC Leadership and Director of Chemical Development, where significant contributions included establishing in-house manufacturing capabilities and implementing Quality by Design principles. Earlier experience at PPD as Associate Group Leader involved supervising analytical method development. Bob holds an MS in Organic Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
