Cherie Baker is an accomplished IRCA PQMS Lead Auditor with extensive experience in quality assurance and supplier quality management. Currently serving as the Manager of QA Supplier and External Commercial at Alkermes since March 2015, Cherie successfully led the transition of the Supplier Quality Management team to a site-centric model and implemented key synergies to enhance supplier quality support. Since her promotion to Quality Specialist in 2019, Cherie has continued to contribute by focusing on the implementation and improvement of global quality processes and systems, including the adoption of an electronic SQM system utilizing the Veeva Vault platform. With a career at Alkermes that began in 2006 and previous experience at Apotex Pharmachem Inc. and Mallinckrodt Medical Inc., Cherie has developed a robust background in quality compliance and assurance. Cherie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from McMaster University and pursued advanced education at NSF DBA and the University of Strathclyde.
