Jared Lopes is an accomplished professional in the field of biomedical research with extensive experience in translational biology and oncology. Currently serving as the Director of Translational Biology at Orionis Biosciences since December 2022, Jared has been with Alkermes since December 2010, advancing through various roles including Director of Oncology Research, Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist I, and Scientist III in Discovery Research and Biologics. Prior research experience includes a position as a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, supported by two postdoctoral fellowships, and as a Post-doc at the Joslin Diabetes Center. Jared earned a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Washington, where earlier academic pursuits culminated in a B.Sc. in Cellular Biology and Genetics from The University of British Columbia.
