Mariya Khiterer is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the fields of chemistry and materials science. Currently serving as a Principal Scientist and Research Fellow at Alkermes since June 2015, Mariya has held several roles, including Senior Scientist. Prior to this, Mariya worked at Samsung Electronics America from December 2012 to May 2015 as a Staff Engineer, focusing on the development of lithium-air battery membranes and collaborating with MIT. Additionally, Mariya contributed as a Visiting Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology during the same time period. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Scientist at E Ink Corporation, where Mariya developed advanced electronic ink systems, and serving as a Graduate Student at UC Irvine, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry in 2007. Throughout career endeavors, Mariya has demonstrated expertise in advanced materials development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
