Mark Mattar

Mark Mattar, MS, CPP, is an innovative security leader with over 20 years of experience in protecting people, assets, and operations across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Global Security at Alkermes Pharmaceuticals, they lead the global physical security strategy while fostering collaboration and safety within a diverse workforce. Previously, Mark held key roles at the Broad Institute, where they developed and implemented extensive security programs that saved the organization significant funds and earned accolades, including the State Eco Transportation Award. Mark's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Business Continuity, IT Security, and Risk Management from Boston University and an Associate degree in Criminal Justice from Massasoit Community College.
