Tim MacDonald currently serves as the Director of Consumer Marketing at Alkermes, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Tim was the Director of Owned Media within the Omnichannel Engagement Team at Takeda from May 2021 to April 2024, leading efforts across owned channels such as web, email, and CRM. Tim also held various leadership roles at Flexion Therapeutics and previously at Alkermes, focusing on customer experience, digital marketing, and brand management. With earlier experience at ConforMIS, Ogilvy, and EMD Serono, Tim has extensive expertise in marketing communications, strategy development, and campaign management across multiple therapeutic areas. Tim holds a BA in Communication and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA in Marketing from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. Tim was recognized with the 2015 Marketing Person of the Year Award.
