Tom Ryan

Tom Ryan has extensive experience in human resources leadership, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Executive Director HR, HRBP, and Talent Development at Alkermes since October 2011. In this role, Tom oversees talent management, learning and development, and engagement efforts while providing HR leadership for Alkermes' operations in Ireland. Previous roles at Alkermes include Senior Director Human Resources and HR Business Partner for multiple global operations. Prior to joining Alkermes, Tom worked at Elan Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Training and HR Specialist and held an academic position as a lecturer at Technology University of the Shannon. Tom's career began in the Irish Defence Forces, where various HR and leadership roles were held over two decades. Tom's educational background includes multiple advanced degrees in business, industrial relations, and science from institutions such as Dublin City University and the University of Galway.
