Peter Spoon

Peter Spoon is an experienced educational leader with a diverse background in various roles within the Dutch education system. Starting as a researcher at Utrecht University from 1988 to 1992, Peter held multiple positions including teacher, schedule maker, and partial school leader at Montessori Lyceum Amsterdam between 1992 and 2004. Peter progressed to leadership roles, serving as Sectordirecteur at Willem de Zwijger College and subsequently as Conrector at Alkwin Kollege since August 2020. Interim leadership positions included Conrector at Lyceum Sancta Maria and Schoolleider VO overseeing education and operations. With a strong foundation in physical geography from Utrecht University and a Master of Arts in Educational Management from the Nederlandse School voor Onderwijsmanagement, Peter has accumulated 15 years of directorial experience in organizational management, HRM, and education.
