Yanwei

Yanwei Ma, PhD, is currently the Prokaryote Team Lead at All G, where they focus on genomic editing research and strain development for precision fermentation. Previously, Yanwei served as Lab Manager at BGI Genomics, overseeing NGS workflow and COVID-19 testing capacity expansion, and as Library Preparation Team Leader at Novogene Europe, leading a team in NGS library prep workflows. Yanwei commenced their academic journey at the University of Sydney, earning a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and later working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Academic Tutor. As a Chemical Engineer at Sanitarium, Yanwei developed a patented Vitamin K2 production process, publishing their findings in a peer-reviewed journal.
