Richard van Eek

Richard Van Eek has a strong background in risk management and compliance. Richard began their career in 2001 as the Head of APAC Risk Management at ABN AMRO Clearing Bank N.V. Richard later held positions at Optiver Trading Hong Kong, Vantage Capital Markets, and Cboe Clear Europe, where they served in various risk management roles. In 2012, they joined IMC Trading as the Head of Risk Management & Compliance, and later became the Manager of the Hong Kong office. Richard then moved to Risk Management as a Senior Risk Management Consultant before returning to IMC Trading as the Head of Risk, Management Team. Most recently, they became the Head of Risk Management US at All Options in 2023.

Richard Van Eek holds a Master's degree in Economics - Finance from the University of Groningen. In 2020, they also completed a certificate in Global Business from Harvard Business School Online.
