Dennis Townsend

Dennis Townsend began his investment career at Thomson McKinnon Securities, Inc., where he was one of the pioneers in the newly emerging field of tax-advantaged investments. His expertise enabled him to frequently advise tax attorneys and accountants on the analysis and structuring of tax-advantaged investment partnerships. In 1975, he founded Townsend Capital, LLC, and since has grown the company into a firm that invests primarily for its own account. Over the course of his career, Townsend has established lasting relationships with clients including AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Tyco and the University of Pennsylvania.
