Garrett Mooney

Garrett Mooney is a senior data professional with extensive experience as an engineer, analyst, data scientist, and team lead. Having freelanced from 2017 to 2018, Garrett worked on diverse projects, ranging from machine learning app development to hedge fund modeling. At DICK'S Sporting Goods, Garrett contributed as the first data science hire, gaining skills in Docker and Kubernetes while mentoring team members. Currently, as a Team Lead at AllCloud, Garrett focuses on developing simple, scalable systems and enjoys tackling technical challenges with probabilistic and causal models. Garrett holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Western Illinois University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Bradley University.
