Modou THIAM

Modou THIAM is a skilled forestry expert with extensive experience in forest management and environmental conservation. Currently serving as an Expert Forêt REDD+ at ALLCOT Group since October 2021, Modou has also held positions such as NBS/AFOLU Expert Coordinator and NBS Expert at ALLCOT. Previous roles include Technical Assistant in forestry at ECO Consult GmbH & Co. KG and various leadership positions within the Direction des Eaux et Forêts, including Chef du Bureau Aménagement des forêts and Chef de la Division Reboisement et Conservation des Sols from May 2016 to January 2021. Modou holds a Master's degree in Forest Management from Ecole Post Universitaire d'Aménagement et Gestion Intégrés des Forêts et Territoires Tropicaux and an engineering degree from Ecole nationale Forestière d'Ingénieurs. Additionally, education includes a degree in Natural Sciences from Université Mohammed Premier Oujda.
