Michael Heim is an experienced engineer currently employed at Draper since June 2025, following a long tenure at Allegro MicroSystems starting in June 2007. At Allegro MicroSystems, Michael has held various leadership roles, including Section Head for Photonics Position Linear/Angle Current Sensors, Linear/Multi Axis and Angle Sensors, and Current Sensors, where responsibilities included developing innovative sensor technologies and leading team meetings to address challenges and recognize achievements. Earlier in the career as a Product Engineer, Michael focused on establishing product performance through test design, software development, and data analysis. Michael holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, along with an Associate of Science from North Shore Community College.
