Eileen Yang

Eileen Yang is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Legal Counsel (Secondee) at Coles Group since February 2025, while also holding the position of Associate at Allens since February 2022, specializing in Competition, Consumer & Regulatory law. Prior to these roles, Eileen founded and tutored at Writing Enrichment College and worked extensively as a research assistant at the University of Melbourne, collaborating with notable professors and the Office for Women in the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet to assess the Gender Equality Act 2020. Eileen has also served in various editorial and coordination roles with the Melbourne Journal of International Law, and held clerkships at prestigious law firms such as Allens, Arnold Bloch Leibler, and Herbert Smith Freehills. Eileen holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology & Sociology from the same institution, complementing education with a winter program in Chinese Law at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
