James Kanabar

James Kanabar is a Partner in the Funds, Super and Financial Services team at Allens in Sydney, specializing in funds management and financial services regulation since September 2014. With extensive experience in private capital, James has collaborated with Linklaters to assist various fund managers and financial institutions in raising capital globally. Prior to Allens, James served in multiple roles at Linklaters in London, where responsibilities included establishing and managing various investment funds and acting as a legal resource for Goldman Sachs during a secondee placement. James holds several degrees in law and history from prestigious institutions, including the University of Sydney and the London School of Economics.
