Jose Cabrera

Jose Cabrera, CPTD, CRP, serves as a Learning and Organizational Development Analyst II at ALLETE since May 2023, where responsibilities include assessing leadership and employee development needs and implementing collaborative solutions. Previously, as a Career Counselor for the City of Duluth (April 2019 - May 2023), Jose guided community members in developing career goals through various assessments and resources. Experience as Assistant HR Manager at Whole Foods Co-op Duluth (July 2017 - April 2019) involved administering medical benefits and managing complex projects. Jose also worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Duluth Cleaning Contractors (May 2015 - June 2017), leading a project to implement HR software solutions, and as a Training Coordinator at Texas Roadhouse (January 2010 - May 2016), successfully training staff and overseeing onboarding. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Training and Performance Improvement from Capella University and a degree in Human Resources from Concordia University-St. Paul.
