Andreas Sobotta

Andreas (Andy) Sobotta has held various roles throughout their work experience. Andreas (Andy) began their career as the CISO, Enterprise Security Leader at Volkswagen Group of America, Inc in 2005 and later served as the Global Information Systems Security Officer. Andreas (Andy) then worked at Elavon, Inc. as the Vice President, CISO Global Security. Sobotta then joined Procter & Gamble as the Senior Director, Global Information Security before moving on to Sensata Technologies as the Director, Information Security (CISO). Andreas (Andy) later became the Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer at Bridgestone. Sobotta has also served on the boards of directors for the Greater Nashville Technology Council, Cloud Security Alliance, and Credit First National Association (CFNA). Currently, they hold the role of SVP, Chief Security | Chief Information Security Officer at AllianceBernstein.

Andreas (Andy) Sobotta holds a Master of Science degree in Information Science from Penn State Great Valley. Andreas (Andy) also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from East Tennessee State University and an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from Enterprise State Community College. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in April 2017, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA in December 2011, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in December 2009, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in October 2004.
