Andy Shyu

Andy Shyu's work experience includes:

- From 2012 to present, Shyu has been the Vice President and Head of Taiwan Equity at AB. Andy relocated to Hong Kong in July 2016 and is responsible for managing and developing the equity business in Taiwan. Andy also handles various types of products, including Taiwan Equity, Asia REIT, and Multi Assets products.

- From 2009 to 2012, Shyu worked as a Senior Fund Manager at Value Partners Group, where they were responsible for the Taiwan equity portfolios. Andy reported to the headquarter in Dublin and Value Partner in Hong Kong and also developed the domestic investment team.

- From 2007 to 2008, Shyu worked as a Senior Fund Manager at AIG, managing various equity products. Andy provided research support to the regional headquarter in Hong Kong and participated in fund launch campaigns and regular media interactions.

- From 2000 to 2007, Shyu worked as a Fund Manager at Allianz Global Investors, managing equity products and internal mandates for the Allianz Taiwan subsidiary. Andy also provided research support to the investment team in the Allianz RCM Asia Headquarter.

- In 1999, Shyu worked as an Analyst at Polaris MF Global Futures.

- From 1995 to 1996, Shyu worked as a Software Developer at Practical Knowledge Information Technology.

Andy Shyu holds a Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Essex, which they earned from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management from Keele University from 1996 to 1997. Andy also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering which they obtained from National Taiwan Ocean University from 1989 to 1993. Andy Shyu has an additional certification as a Certified Securities Investment Analyst from the Securities & Futures Institute, Taiwan.
