Geoff Smith

Geoff Smith is an experienced Senior Project Manager with a diverse background in investment management and technology. Currently at AllianceBernstein since May 2022, Geoff supports the Private Wealth business by expanding product offerings for ultra high net worth global families while also delivering initiatives for the international business. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager at Close Brothers, where Geoff led an AIRB programme for the Invoice & Specialty Finance division, and Acting Head of Investments IT at RPMI Railpen, managing a team of 21 technology professionals. At M&G Investments, Geoff oversaw project deliveries to Fixed Income and Equities Front Office units, significantly enhancing portfolio management capabilities. With a career beginning at HSBC, Geoff has developed a solid foundation in IT project management and software development, holding a BSc with Honours in Computing from Surrey University.
