Patrick O'Connell, CFA, has extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as the Director of Responsible Investing Research - Fixed Income at AllianceBernstein since December 2012, focusing on Latin American credits and previously as an Emerging Market Credit Analyst. Prior to AllianceBernstein, O'Connell worked at UBS Investment Bank from July 2010 to November 2012 as a Desk Analyst in Credit Trading, where responsibilities included generating trade ideas and building financial models for over 40 companies. O'Connell began at UBS as a Sales and Trading Summer Analyst in 2009 and completed a summer internship with Merrill Lynch's CFO Division in 2008. Early experience includes finance work with the United States Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. O'Connell holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Villanova University.
