Merel Hartman

Merel Hartman currently serves as the Head of Business Customer at Alliander, where responsibilities include managing a team of 30 full-time employees and overseeing business customer requests for renewable energy. Previous roles at Alliander include Team Manager for the Technical Customer Contact Center, Project Manager/Product Owner focusing on green gas implementation and various renewable energy projects, and Medior Consultant specializing in energy infrastructure solutions. Merel Hartman began the professional career as a Graduate Intern at Vattenfall and worked at the Taskforce Innovatie Regio Utrecht on sustainable business initiatives. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management from Delft University of Technology, a Master of Science in Technology Management Economics and Policy from Seoul National University, and a Bachelor of Science in Science and Innovation Management from Utrecht University. Additionally, Merel has obtained PRINCE2® certifications in both Foundation and Practitioner levels in Project Management.
