Robert Aartsen is a consultant in crisis control at Alliander since 2011, focusing on organizing, coordinating, and improving processes related to crisis situations, as well as initiating and preparing internal and external exercises and training. Prior experience includes advising on governance at a school from 2009 to June 2013, and serving as an advisor on crisis control for Provincie Gelderland from March 2003 to October 2011, where responsibilities included evaluating disaster plans and participation in the Provincial Disaster Control Center. Robert also led a project on self-sufficiency in case of wildfires, managing project plans, financial oversight, and collaboration with multiple organizations. Earlier roles include being a regional coordinator for monitoring national developments and knowledge exchange and working as a legal policy officer at Politie Gelderland-Midden and as a Senior Parketsecretaris at Openbaar Ministerie. Robert holds a master's degree in law from Utrecht University, completed from 1981 to 1989, and attended Christelijk atheneum Arnhem and van Lingen College from 1975 to 1981.
