Roel Haars

Roel Haars is an experienced professional with a robust background in technical roles and coordination within the energy sector. Currently serving as Voorman werkplaats at Alliander since January 2024, Roel is responsible for assessing assignments, creating designs, ordering materials, advising colleagues, and ensuring safety in the workplace. Roel has been with Liander since 2009, holding positions that include technicus and technicus hoogspanning, focusing on building and maintaining temporary high-voltage spaces, as well as coordinating workloads across various workshops. Previous experience includes a technical engineer role at NIHS, and a significant tenure at Nuon as Head Tools Inspector, where Roel prioritized tool safety and functionality to minimize workplace accidents. Additionally, Roel has briefly worked at UWV and has various skills in banking, grit blasting, and welding.
