Sjoerd Oomen

Sjoerd Oomen currently serves as a Strategisch HR Business Partner at Alliander since December 2023. Prior to this role, Sjoerd was a Senior Manager in Organization Consultancy for HR at BDO Nederland from September 2011 to December 2023, where responsibilities included advising SME and family businesses on organizational structure, HR, leadership, coaching, team development, continuity, succession, and strategic issues. Earlier career experience includes working as a Consultant/Psychologist at YER, focusing on assessments, career guidance, training, and HR recruitment from September 2007 to September 2011, and as a Consultant at Content Executive from 2004 to September 2007, specializing in candidate selection and coaching in the financial services sector. Sjoerd's professional journey began as a Junior Lecturer in Organizational Consultancy and Change at Radboud University Nijmegen from 2001 to 2003. Educationally, Sjoerd holds a Master’s degree in Work and Organizational Psychology from Radboud University, supplemented by further education at Avans Plus and TIAS School for Business and Society.
