Yannick Stomphorst

Yannick Stomphorst is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, business control, and energy management. Currently serving as Controller M&A and Business Controller at Alliander since 2017, Yannick has previously held various roles at Essent from 2011 to 2017, including Retail Energy Management, Innovation Manager, and Business Analyst for New Energy. Prior experience includes a trainee position at the European Commission focusing on M&A in the IT, telecoms, and media sectors, and roles within the Dutch Central Government as a Rijkstrainee, handling M&A cases and policy advising. Yannick's academic background includes a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management from Radboud University and a Master's in European Union Studies from Leiden University. Additionally, training was received at the Energy Delta Institute in 2011.
