Dong Chen is currently the Head of Advanced Methods in Generative AI at Allianz, a position held since 2023. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Advisor on AI, ML, and Analytics at Allianz and held various positions at Munich Re (Group) between 2016 and 2020, including Head of Data Analytics X and Senior Data Scientist. They also worked as a Senior Research Scientist and Team Lead at United Imaging Healthcare from 2012 to 2013, and were involved in MRI R&D at GE Global Research from 2006 to 2009. Dong Chen earned a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Tongji University and holds a PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the Technical University of Munich.
