Mark Prelli

Mark Prelli is an experienced mathematics educator currently serving as a Math Teacher at CREC since April 2024. Previously, Mark held the position of Upward Bound Site Coordinator at Naugatuck Valley Community College since May 2022, where responsibilities included tutoring and motivating students in their math curriculum. Additional roles include being an online math tutor for Smart Start Education and serving as a Home Health Aide at Allied Resources Staffing Solutions. Mark's teaching experience expands to roles at Northwestern Connecticut Community College, where instruction focused on math skills for college readiness, and Northwestern Regional High School, where Geometry and Algebra courses were taught. Mark's extensive educational background includes a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Connecticut and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics, with minors in Computer Science and Philosophy, from Bates College.
