David Mathis has extensive experience in security and law enforcement, currently serving as a Shift Supervisor at Allied Universal since December 2019. Previous roles include Director of Security at Wynstone Properties and Security Supervisor, as well as founding DCM Unlimited, providing security consulting services. Mathis served in the Army National Guard from March 2014 to January 2024, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant, and has held various positions as a police officer, including engagements with the Elgin Police Department and as a Patrol Officer. Additional experience includes serving as a Staffing Coordinator at AAA Employment, and a Communications Chief in the US Marine Corps. Educationally, Mathis completed police training in Criminal Justice/Police Science and has attended multiple colleges, including Harper College and the College of Lake County.
